The lower reaches of the Football League has got some fine young talent just waiting to make an impression.

Thanks to restrictive budgets, young players have got plenty of opportunity to make a name for themselves further down the divisions and that's where our One to Watch feature comes in.

In the latest piece of the series, then, we're taking a closer look at Macclesfield Town's Koby Arthur:

The winger signed for the Silkmen last season and would make a handful of appearances as they won promotion from the National League.

This year, though, it looks as though the pacey wide-man is going to feature far more with him racking up five appearances already in League Two and grabbing a pair of goals.

It is still early in the year, of course, but it looks as though this could be a big season for Arthur in his career.

Capable of playing out wide or in behind a main striker, Arthur often finds himself being one of the smallest men on the pitch.

That does not put him off at all, though, and actually comes to his advantage when getting into tight spaces.

Quite frequently he can use a quick turn with his feet to get into space or change direction sharply thanks to his low centre of gravity.

He then has good pace to drive into the room he has created for himself and, evidently, his end product to finish is improving.

He and Macclesfield will learn a lot this season at their new level but he's made a good start and should only kick on further this year.
