FLW TV: Ipswich Town takeover – January plans, stance on Paul Cook, and more…

Ipswich Town claimed a statement win against Wycombe at Adams Park yesterday. 

The hosts were unbeaten in seven in League One, having won five of those, heading into the game yesterday and took an early lead but Paul Cook’s side fought back and ended up with a comprehensive 4-1 victory.

Given some 19 players joined the club in the summer and 22 departed, it’s no surprise that the 2021/22 campaign started slowly for the Tractor Boys but concern was starting to build amongst the fanbase that they were falling too far off the pace.

Last night’s victory leaves Ipswich in ninth, just four points off the top six, and likely leaves the Portman Road faithful feeling positive.
