Sheffield Wednesday's poor run of form continued, as they were forced to settle for a point in their last league match against Birmingham City.

The Owls led 3-2 heading into stoppage-time against Pep Clotet's side, but Scott Hogan struck a late equaliser to deny Garry Monk's men a much-needed victory.

The draw means that Wednesday are now without a win in their last six games, which has seen them lose ground on the play-off chasing pack.

Monk's team are now sat 12th in the second-tier standings, and are nine points adrift of the play-off positions with 12 league games remaining in this year's campaign.

But who can we expect to be included in the Sheffield Wednesday starting XI, as Garry Monk's side look to end their winless run in the Championship with a positive result against the Addicks at Hillsborough on Wednesday evening.

Find out below....

It's likely that we could see a few changes in Monk's starting XI for this one, as he looks to keep his side fresh after their last outing on Saturday.

Cameron Dawson's performances have come under-fire from some sections of the Sheffield Wednesday supporters, but he's likely to retain his place in the starting XI ahead of Joe Wildsmith.

Wednesday are likely to see more of the ball against Charlton this week, which could mean that Monk is tempted to opt to a defensive four.

Liam Palmer has been a regular in the starting XI this season, and could be in line to start at right-back, with Dominic Iorfa starting at left-back.

Tom Lees and Julian Borner make up the Sheffield Wednesday defence for this one, and they'll be hoping they can keep a much-needed clean sheet, with the Owls conceding six goals in their last two league matches.

Barry Bannan netted a stunning goal against Birmingham City at the weekend, and will be hoping he can build on this impressive showing against Lee Bowyer's side at Hillsborough.

He's likely to be partnered by Kieran Lee in the centre of midfield, after he put in a strong performance at the weekend against the Addicks.

Monk could operate with an attacking trio in behind the striker for the clash against Charlton. Fernando Forestieri netted a much-needed goal against Birmingham from the penalty spot, whilst Jacob Murphy scored at both ends of the pitch against the Blues, and will be keen to add to his goal tally which currently stands at five.

Kadeem Harris is an almost certain-starter for this game, and has been a rare bright-spark in a disappointing run of results for the Owls.

Steven Fletcher is likely to come back into the starting XI for this one, and could replace Joey Pelupessy in the starting XI, with Forestieri being moved back into the CAM role.

Fletcher made his return to the matchday squad at the weekend against Birmingham City, and stepped off the substitutes bench to play his part in the Owls' draw with the blues on Saturday.
