It's been another fascinating season so far for Brentford B, with them engaging in games all over the continent as well as against sides in this country.

The Bees are well known for taking a novel approach to various different factors compared to other clubs in this country, and their B team is just another example of that.

Where most clubs have a fairly uniform structure of bringing through youth, Brentford go about things differently and have some good young players plying their trade there at the moment.

Here, we look at five of the best:

Jaden Brissett has been a regular goal-scorer this season for the B team, with him liking to cut inside and get shots away.

He can play in various positions having grown up as a striker.

Gustav Mogensen is aiming to be top scorer this season for the Bees' B team and helped his cause with a fine hat-trick against Harrow Borough in the London Senior Cup.

He's hard-working and bright in the box, scoring against several sides from various parts of the globe this year.

Jaakko Oksanen has earned a handful of first-team minutes this season at age just 19 and could be one to watch for the coming campaigns.

The midfielder has been a regular in the B team this season.

Fredrik Hammar has broken ground and made a first-team appearance against Stoke in the FA Cup.

The midfielder has also made the Championship squad this season.

O'Connor has great leadership qualities at the back and has been a consistent rock in defence for the B side.

He's also had a part to play in recent Scottish successes at youth level.
