Birmingham City will feel as though they've got real potential to make a go of the play-offs next season, providing they can be a bit more consistent.

Of course, they need to add well in the market and try and keep their best players but there is room to grow for the Blues and they're not that far away from a top six challenge.

With Jude Bellingham one of the stars of the show this year, there'll be hopes more young players will break through soon enough.

And, that in mind, we're taking a look at five players that could well be ones to watch:

Jobe Bellingham is the brother of emerging star, Jude, and is expected to be a star as well.

Whilst Jude has taken the headlines, Jobe is a fine young player in his own right and will be one to watch in the coming years.

Adan George is a pacey forward that has been at the Blues since 2015. He's a strong striker and will be itching to keep rising through the ranks.

Defender Mitch Roberts is looking to work his way into the Blues' defence with his composure on the ball and ability to play things out from the back.

Talents that may leave him in good stead in the modern game.

Kane Thompson-Sommers is strong on the ball, has an eye for goal and covers plenty of ground in midfield.

He's a player Blues fans could really get behind if he makes it.

Tyler Reid was given a first team number recently and has spent time at Manchester United and Swansea in his young career.

He's clearly highly thought of at the Blues at the moment.
