Bursting onto the scene in the 18/19 season, Yan Valery joined the list of exciting young full-backs in the Premier League.

Scoring twice and getting one assist in his first full campaign. In the seasons to follow, Valery would see less and less minutes making only 12 appearances in the 19/20 campaign and is yet to feature for the Saints this season.

This could be a perfect move for everyone involved, gaining the player key minutes. While also helping Cardiff’s dire right-back situation which currently see’s Bacuna reluctantly playing as a makeshift full back.
