Five managers that Oldham Athletic should consider as Harry Kewell’s replacement

Published

on

Oldham Athletic have recently announced that they have parted company with Harry Kewell after a poor run of results in League Two.

Kewell was appointed as Oldham’s manager back in August 2020, but they’ve struggled for a positive run of results in the fourth-tier of English football.

They’re currently sat 16th in the League Two table, and are just ten points clear of the relegation zone heading into the final 14 matches of this year’s campaign.

The Latics were forced to settle for a point in their most recent match, as they drew 0-0 with relegation-threatened Southend United at Boundary Park.

They have no time to waste in finding a replacement though, with matches coming thick and fast. Oldham travel to Vale Park to take on Port Vale on Tuesday evening.

We take a look at FIVE managers Oldham Athletic could consider as Harry Kewell’s replacement heading towards the conclusion of this year’s campaign.
