Everton's ascent of the Premier League table continues, with the Toffees starting to find their mojo under Carlo Ancelotti, giving the Goodison Park fans plenty to cheer about.

Here though we highlight the five famous faces you may have had no idea supported Everton.......

Liz McClarnon is one of Atomic Kitten’s original band-members and is a devoted Evertonian. In an interview, she described her “old Everton scarf” as one of her most prized possessions and she reportedly once refused to give Gary Lineker an autograph after he had left The Ev.

The Eternal Flame singer has said her best Everton moment was watching the team bus drive past on Aigburth Road in 1985 where she was watching with her Dad and brother.

Britain’s Got Talent Judge Amanda Holden, has been a lifelong Evertonian and was even made an ambassador for Everton in the Community in 2016. The TV-star attends home and away games whenever her busy schedule allows and regularly tweets support for the club throughout the season.

In 2016, during a visit to Liverpool for Britain’s Got Talent auditions, Amanda took time out of her schedule to visit Goodison and help out with their ‘Pass on the Memories’ programme which supported people living with dementia in Merseyside. The charity is close to Holden’s heart as her Grandfather suffered from dementia at the end of his life.

Another celeb on our countdown of famous Everton fans is Dame Judi Dench the UK’s very own national treasure and star of stage and screen who is a patron of Everton’s official charity, Everton in the Community.

Dame Judi followed in the footsteps of her late husband Michael who was an avid Blue and she has also taken her grandson Sam to a number of matches.

The Oscar-winning star has been photographed at many matches over the years, including the 2009 FA Cup Final.

The Hollywood action man Sylvester Stallone made his name playing characters including Rocky Balboa and John Rambo and first became an Evertonian when his business partner and friend took him to a match.

Since then, Stallone’s love for the blues has grown and grown: he’s watched a number of Everton matches, asked fans to help him out during half-time when filming crowd scenes for the movie Creed and even admitted that he wishes he’d bought the club before sport became a “billionaire’s game”.

Everton’s most famous and probably most reluctant fan is one quarter of Merseyside’s legendary Fab Four. Sir Paul McCartney was brought up in an Evertonian family and has supported the Blues since childhood.

Sir Paul is the only Beatle to support a Merseyside team. Both John Lennon and George Harrison never expressed any interest in the beautiful game while Ringo has confessed to being an Arsenal fan due to his stepdad.

Sir Paul has previously tried to claim in an interview with The Observer that he supports both Liverpool teams after making friends with Kenny Dalglish at a match, but we know that if you’re born a blue you’re forever a blue.

Even Sir Paul knows there’s no compromise. He once admitted: “If it comes to the crunch, I’m an Evertonian”.
