Swansea City fans have reacted to a video showing 19-year-old Kees de Boer scoring a fine free-kick for the U23 side.

The Dutchman is a product of the infamous Jong Ajax set-up and moved to South Wales in 2017.

Since then he's been a prominent figure in the development squad and earlier this season made his first-team debut for the club.

He came on for the final minutes of Swansea's Carabao Cup win over Northampton Town in August, but that remains his only first-team appearance for the club.

Today though, Swans fans have had an update on the midfielder with this video:

A stunning free-kick in his side's 2-1 win against Norwich City's U23 squad in PL2 has got fans talking, and some think he's ready to be a first-team regular.

Swansea have dropped down to 11th in the Championship after their weekend thumping at The Hawthorns, and are in need of something new in the side. Could de Boer be the man to give Swansea their spark back?
