According to reports from the Mirror, Jorge Mendes is set to heavily increase his influence at the Molineux Stadium by bringing in a new sporting director for Championship club Wolves.

The report suggests that former Celtic defender Daniel Majstorovic has met with the super-agent to hold talks over taking up the position at the club.

This would see the Swede take over from Kevin Thelwell, whom the Wolves fans aren’t the biggest fan of.

Mendes has slowly been increasing his influence at the club especially in recruitment with the Portuguese agent being involved in the club’s record signing of Ruben Neves and the appointment of his client, Nuno Espirito Santo as the Wolves new manager.

Paul Lambert recently quit his position as Wolves boss due to the amount of say Mendes was beginning to have over the club.
