‘Finally some good news’ – Bradford City fans react to latest news

The dust is beginning to settle at Valley Parade, as Bradford City reflect on the 2016/17 season, which saw them go within 90 minutes of a return to the Sky Bet Championship for the first time since 2004.

Steve Morison’s late strike for Millwall handed Bradford a 1-0 defeat at Wembley last month, denying the Bantams a chance of returning to the Championship.

Stuart McCall will now be looking ahead to next season, identifying where he needs to alter his squad to mount a challenge on promotion in League One again next season.

The Bantams were dealt an early blow in the summer, with James Meredith moving to Millwall, and since then Billy Clarke has also sealed a move away from Valley Parade, linking up with Charlton Athletic.

Clarke made over 100 appearances for Bradford across three seasons with the club, scoring 25 goals for the Bantams.

Here is how Bradford’s fans reacted to his departure…
