Andrea Radrizzani has been reacting to football’s return over the weekend, with the Leeds United owner describing the Bundesliga’s restart as a key step back towards normality.  

Leeds are embroiled in the thick of the Championship’s promotion race, sitting top of the table with nine fixtures remaining and on the cusp of a Premier League return.

Currently, the Whites are sweating on the season’s resume, but events in Germany will have offered them hope that the campaign can conclude and Marcelo Bielsa’s side can win promotion the ‘proper’ way.

Taking to Twitter to react to the return of German football, Radrizzani had this to say:

Reports have suggested that if Leeds can’t conclude the season, they may well be rewarded with promotion on a sporting merit.
