Millwall only picked up their first away win of the season last weekend with a dramatic 4-3 win over 10-man Leeds United at Elland Road.

That they look set to avoid the drop fairly comfortably on their return to the Championship is due to their outstanding home form and how Neil Harris and his players have made the Den and intimidating place to go for opponents.

Millwall's budget is not up there with the big hitters in the Championship and that makes the work of Harris and his staff even more impressive.

Despite their financial constraints, there are still players on the market that could make a difference to Millwall's fortunes between now and the end of the season which could maybe help them pick up another away win or two.

Harris needs players who will buy into his philosophy, work as hard as he requires and get the crowd on their side.

We take a look at some of the players he could get into the club before February 1.

Nahki Wells

Sean Dyche, like Harris, is another manager who demands nothing less than 100 per cent commitment from his players and that is why when he brought former Huddersfield man Nahki Wells to Burnley, it looked like a perfect fit.

However, it has not worked out as planned for the livewire striker, who has failed to nail down a regular starting spot at Turfmoor, maybe due to not being as physically imposing in the air as Chris Wood or Sam Vokes.

He would be a good signing for Millwall and the fans should take to him well as he never stops running, gives his all in every game and will be desperate to prove himself after an extended spell in the shadows.

I don't imagine Burnley pay Wells ridiculous sums so a loan spell shouldn't be off the cards due to wage demands.

Sam Baldock

Baldock is another honest, hard-running striker who has seen his opportunities limited in the Premier League.

He has had success in the Championship in the past and I think he could add clinical finishing to Millwall's attack.

He has returned to full fitness in recent weeks but Brighton have just spent big to boost their attack, which has pushed Baldock even further down the pecking order and he needs a loan move to get away and play regular football before the transfer window slams shut.

Chris Hughton is an experienced football man who should understand Baldock's predicament and I would be surprised if he blocked his path out of the club.
