Sheffield Wednesday have had their fair share of goals that will be up there for their Goal of the Season competition, but one will stand out above the rest.

Fernando Forestieri's well-struck effort from distance against Norwich City in April saw the Owls level the scores on the day in a game which eventually finished 2-2.

The midfielder picked up the Goal of the Month award for the goal, and he took to

Forestieri hasn't been as consistent as he would have liked to this season, but this was a rare glimpse of the quality he has in his locker at times.

The Italian has made 15 starts this season, but has improved since Steve Bruce took charge of Sheffield Wednesday earlier this year.

It's been a season to forget for Forestieri, but his goal against Norwich was worthy of winning any game, and he'll be slighly disappointed that his side couldn't come away from Carrow Road with three points in a closely-fought draw.

But the 29-year-old will be hoping he can build on this ahead of next season, with Sheffield Wednesday likely to be one of the teams challenging for a top six finish in the Championship.

The Verdict:

He's fully deserved this.

It was a strike that couldn't have been hit any sweeter, and Forestieri will be hoping for more moments of magic in next year's campaign.

What a goal this was.
