Sheffield Wednesday fans have been revelling in the relegation of Hearts from the Scottish Premier League, not least because of ex-player, Sean Clare.
Clare, 23, was with Wednesday between 2016 and 2018, with the Owls giving the young midfielder a chance in the Championship.
He made five appearances for the Yorkshire outfit, but failure to commit to a new deal led to his exit, with Hearts his destination.
Quiz: Have these 15 current Sheffield Wednesday players been capped at senior international level? – Yes or no?
There, the midfielder has played regularly, making 71 appearances and netting 12 goals. However, yesterday, the SPFL season was brought to a premature end, with Celtic going up as Champions and Hearts relegated.
Of course, legal battles await Hearts, but the initial news is devastating.
As news of their relegation spilled onto the Sheffield Wednesday Twitter feeds, there was little sympathy, mainly due to the fact Clare had suffered relegation with Hearts.
Here, we take a look at the reaction, as the Owls fans take aim at their former man…
