With regards to our main bet, we see first two sides struggling to put a stop to leaking goals at the back in recent weeks. Fulham’s last 4 games have all included 3 or more goals and Huddersfield have seen 3 of their last 4 games result in 4 or more goals. Considering the two sides are also looking threatening in the their opponent’s final third, with Fulham recording 32 shots in their midweek game versus Blackpool, expect goals at Craven Cottage.

The second half of the double includes two teams coming into good form with attacking options likely to stretch the defences of any side in the division. Chris Martin has fired 8 goals in his last 9 games from all competitions and lets hope he doesn’t suffer from a rush of blood to the head if provided with any easy chances in front of goal this weekend. Derby have seen their last 4 games result in BTTS, with Wolves’ last 5 away games all achieving the same feat.

Gary Rowett’s Birmingham have looked a different side completely after their 8-0 thrashing at the hands of Bournemouth. With 4 points in their last 2 fixtures versus top 6 opposition, the tide seems to be turning for the men from St. Andrews. Their opponents Cardiff have particularly struggled away from home this season, compared to having won their last 4 home matches. With just 4 points return from their 8 away fixtures and the huge value of 9/5 with Ladbrokes for a home win, we’re behind Brum to bag 3 points and continue their move out of the relegation zone.

Huddersfield were unbeaten in their last 7 before losing a hard-fought game versus Derby 3-2 in midweek and if they bring the same performance to Craven Cottage will be sure to be able to avoid defeat and land our selection. Fulham had the better of Blackpool in midweek, maintaining 75% possession and spending almost the entirety of the second half in the Blackpool half, and if they continue to show the lack of clear cut chances being created will fall foul to a respectable Huddersfield outfit who will be spirited from recent form versus teams currently much higher than them in the division.
