Sheffield Wednesday recorded their third successive clean sheet after last night’s stalemate with Millwall at The Den.

The goalless encounter means Steve Bruce is yet to concede a goal since arriving at the club as manager, making them hard to beat once again.

Granted, they have scored once in the three games under the new boss, but the Owls have stopped leaking goals and have become resolute at the back.

That was largely down to Chelsea loanee Michael Hector who put in a virtuoso display at the back to come away from the capital with a share of the spoils.

He was a rock at the back and a handful attacking set pieces, but to no avail in the final third.

The 26-year-old’s form has been impressive since the arrival of Bruce, and the Owls fans were waxing lyrical after his performance on Tuesday evening.
