Many Leeds United supporters have been suggesting that Stuart Dallas has been the club’s most underrated and consistent performer of the season so far, following their 1-0 win at Middlesbrough.

Dallas has been an ever present for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in the Championship throughout the campaign so far, and he was once again selected to start for the Whites at left-back against Middlesbrough, as Leeds picked up their third successive 1-0 win to cement their automatic promotion place.

4th September 1989, Glasgow.

That run has seen Leeds manage to recover from suffering back-to-back defeats against Wigan Athletic and Nottingham Forest at the start of the month, and one of the key changes that has been made to the side since those defeats has been Bielsa electing to move Dallas to left-back for the last four matches.

The Northern Ireland international has managed to provide a real reliable defensive presence down the left-hand side of the field for the Whites in the last few games, which has allowed Bielsa’s side to get back to their solid best having conceded just once in those four matches.

The 28-year-old, therefore, continues to be one of Leeds’ most influential players, with Dallas’ versatility key for the Whites having been used in both full-back positions and in midfield so far this term – and he is able to deliver consistent performances wherever he is asked to play, as the last four games have shown.

Here then, we take a look at what Leeds supporters have been saying about Dallas following their win at Middlesbrough…
