MK Dons have completed the signing of Cardiff City forward Rhys Healey and lots of fans are ecstatic to see the 24-year-old return to the club.

Healey impressed on loan with the Dons in the first half of last season, scoring nine goals in 21 appearances and winning the club's Player of the Month awards for both October and November.

His goals would ultimately help Paul Tisdale's side to achieve promotion to League One last season.

The forward struggled to make an impact after returning to the Bluebirds, making just three Premier League appearances – all from the bench.

Speaking to mkdons.com, Healey described the move back to the Dons as "a no brainer".

He added: "I really enjoyed my time here last season so as soon as this move come around, I was on to it and desperate to get it done.

“I was keeping an eye on results every week - I was a secret fan! I was desperate for the guys to get promoted and I was really happy when we got over the line.

“I felt like I was playing some of my best football here last season so I’m ready to go again this season and kick on even more. Like last season, I want to work hard, score goals and help the team push up the league.”

The Englishman is Tisdale's seventh signing this summer and his arrival has caused excitement amongst many Dons supporters.
