Leeds United have today confirmed that Mateusz Klich has signed a long-term contract to stay at Elland Road.

The 29-year-old has established himself as a key player at the club since Marcelo Bielsa arrived and he scored ten goals from midfield in the Whites promotion push last season.

Whilst he hasn't managed to replicate such high levels of productivity this season, he has still been a regular in the team and will be involved against Blackburn this afternoon.

So, securing his future was a priority for the Championship high-flyers and the Yorkshire club confirmed on their website that the Polish international had penned a four-and-a-half year deal.
