Leeds United have today confirmed that Mateusz Klich has signed a long-term contract to stay at Elland Road.
✍️ Polish international midfielder Mateusz Klich has today committed his future to #LUFC by signing a new four-and-a-half-year contract with the club

The 29-year-old has established himself as a key player at the club since Marcelo Bielsa arrived and he scored ten goals from midfield in the Whites promotion push last season.
Whilst he hasn’t managed to replicate such high levels of productivity this season, he has still been a regular in the team and will be involved against Blackburn this afternoon.
So, securing his future was a priority for the Championship high-flyers and the Yorkshire club confirmed on their website that the Polish international had penned a four-and-a-half year deal.

As you would expect, this news pleased the vast majority of Leeds’ supporters and they were relieved to see Klich commit to the club as they seek a return to the Premier League this season.

Great to tie Kilch down to a new contract but the contract is far too long for a championship player would not cut it where we want to be in the premiership
