Leeds United wide-man Stuart Dallas represented Northern Ireland last night and many Whites fans were excited by his performance.

Dallas’ side suffered a heartbreaking loss against the Netherlands in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier.

Northern Ireland went ahead after 75 minutes after the Leeds man found Josh Magennis with a fantastic floated cross.

However, a flurry of late goals from their opponents, including two in stoppage time, meant the game finished 3-1 to Ronald Koeman’s side.

The defeat means Dallas’ side must overcome the odds to secure qualification to Euro 2020 as the Netherlands and Germany are in the automatic places in the group and both have a game in hand.

Though the result did not go his side’s way, Dallas worked tirelessly throughout and put in the sort of performance that Leeds fans have become used to this season.

The 28-year-old has been converted into a right-back by Marcelo Bielsa to great effect and has been an integral player for the Whites this season–having started every Championship game so far.

He impressed for his country last night and put in a performance that has excited many fans of the Yorkshire club.
