Fans line up to mock Barry Douglas following Leeds man’s latest Instagram post
Leeds United missed out on promotion last season as Derby saw them off over two legs to deny them a place at Wembley.
After missing out on automatic promotion to Sheffield United and then allowing the Rams to see them off at Elland Road, the Whites will be keen to bounce back next term.
There were reasons though for the drop in form for Leeds, not least in terms of injuries, where Marcelo Bielsa had to contend with a host of players missing out on the run-in, including left back Barry Douglas, who was in fine form before seeing his season abruptly ended.
Indeed, Douglas is in the midst of his recovery at the moment, although his latest Instagram post has left him wide open to some banter from onlooking fans and fellow players.
It’s safe to say that the focus in the responses to Douglas’ post is firmly not on the knee brace he has on, but the somewhat risky outfit he has gone with while holidaying in St Lucia.
