Nottingham Forest centre back Joe Worrall has provided a  message to both the supporters of the club and his fellow teammates, as the Reds gear up to take on Queens Park Rangers at the City Ground tomorrow.

Following a run of two wins, two losses and one draw, Forest will no doubt be keen to regain some consistency in a key stage of the season which could determine if they finish in the automatic promotion spots or in the play-offs.

They certainly showed their promotion credentials recently as they picked up impressive results against both West Brom and Leeds United, however the Reds failed to capitalise on a perceived 'easier' fixture against Charlton Athletic as they lost 1-0 to the lowly Addicks.

The 23-year-old centre back has been in fine form for the Reds this term, making 35 appearances in all competitions, whilst also laying on three assists for his teammates.

The Verdict

It is clear that the defender realises the importance of maintaining consistency at this critical stage of the campaign, with any real slip up from Forest potentially opening the door for one of their competitors to capitalise.

This statement also underlines Worrall's role in the side as a leader, with the centre back having come on leaps and bounds this term since returning from his loan spell with Glasgow Rangers back in the summer.

He has fast developed into one of the most complete defenders in the division and as a result has formed sturdy partnership alongside Tobias Figueiredo as part of the Forest backline.

Meanwhile, the team as a whole will no doubt be focused on getting maximum points from their next few games with lowly QPR and fellow play-off chasers Cardiff City lying in wait over the next week or so.
