Coventry City snatched a late draw against Notts County last night at the Ricoh Arena to ensure that the second leg was finely poised.

Marc McNulty confidently netted an 87th minute penalty, which was dubiously given, to cancel out Jonathan Forte's opener.

While most play-off games start off cagey, this one was fast-paced and open.

McNulty struck the post in the first-half and both goalkeepers were called into action to stop the ball on the line.

Notts County took the lead against the run of play early in the second half as Dan Jones slid in to win the ball from Jack Grimmer before his cross was cleverly turned in by Forte.

Coventry pushed for an equaliser but it looked like it was heading for a Notts County win before Matt Tootle was adjudged to have tripped the impressive Tom Bayliss, when replays showed that he won the ball.

McNulty sent Adam Collin the wrong way from 12 yards to ensure the upcoming tie at Meadow Lane next Friday is in the balance.

Here are how Coventry fans reacted to the result.
