Jamie Shackleton is working towards his Leeds United return, having been out of action since the 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion on October 1.

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa had drafted Shackleton into his midfield for a run of games in the absence of Adam Forshaw, but injury struck and left the youngster facing a frustrating spell out on the side.

And, Shackleton has shared an update on his

However, that post has prompted an interesting – yet amusing – response from Ezgjan Alioski, who calls Shackleton as ‘BabyShack’, a reference to the song that emerged on the Elland Road terrace last year.

In retaliation to this, Shackleton has claimed that his teammate is ‘not wired up right’, with Alioski known as one of the lively characters within Marcelo Bielsa’s current squad of players.

Alongside Shackleton, Alioski has missed a run of games recently, with Jack Harrison and Stuart Dallas forced to revert to left-back in the absence of the Macedonian, who also missed international duty this week.

The Verdict

Anyone who follows Leeds United will find Shackleton’s claims about Alioski hilarious, with the Macedonian certainly the live wire of Bielsa’s group.

The Macedonian has been seen belly-flopping around Thorp Arch, whilst on matchday ‘Gjanni-Cam’ has become a regular feature as Alioski steps off the team bus.

This post is another insight into the mind of the 27-year-old.
