Queens Park Rangers and Millwall meet this Wednesday evening in what is sure to be a feisty London derby under the lights at Loftus Road.

QPR head into the live Sky Sports fixture on the back of an impressive 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers, building up a nice unbeaten run of three games which includes just one draw.

Millwall, meanwhile, have not won in four and stopped a run of three straight defeats after they succumbed to a late equaliser against Leeds at the weekend as both sides shared the points.

It will be a close encounter with the hosts hoping to extend their unbeaten run and the Lions hoping to get back to winning ways after a period without a victory.

It would be an impressive win for Neil Harris’ men should they get their first away win of the season against Steve McClaren’s resurgent Rs side.

Ahead of the clash, we here at FLW took a look and see which players from both sides would make it into a combined XI between the two teams ahead of Wednesday’s London derby.

Firstly, you would imagine that Scotland international would have to be the first choice if all available goalkeepers from either side were up for selection.

Joe Lumley is an impressive young keeper, but the Lions’ stopper just has the edge.

The former Swansea defender might not have the legs to maraud forward anymore, but his experience and defensive reliability make him a perfect candidate for the right-back role.

A former Millwall target once upon a time edges it over the other possible candidates.

Between Toni Leistner and Murray Wallace, the former pips the Lions's summer signing.

Both are new additions, and Leistner has become the captain at Loftus Road and has been reliable and defensibly sound at the back for Rangers this year so far.

Jake Cooper has been a colossus at the back for Millwall so far this season and is showing the form that will make Glasgow Rangers wish they had offered more for the series of the 23-year-old.

One of the most consistent performers in the division and goes under the radar for the majority of the time.

More than capable at the back, the Australian cam also bomb forward and defence well in equal measure over the course of 90 minutes.

When on form, a better winger in the division - let alone the two sides - you will be hard pushed to find.

Pace, power, accurate deliveries and goals are all attributes Jed Wallace produces and is an easy inclusion into this combined XI.

The Australia international is a box-to-box midfielder who can stop a goal at one end and score one at the other.

An easy choice having been one of QPR's best players in the past two seasons in what has been pretty non-descript few years for the London club.

Willo the Wand as he is referred to by many at Millwall, his left peg is magical and will pick a pass out and drop it on a sixpence.

His range of passing and calmness on the ball makes his one of the standout choices for this combined XI.

Luke Freeman has extensive Championship experience for his age and has the ability to dictate games from wide and in the middle too.

Deployed on the wing, Freeman has the trickery to get past his man and get the ball in.

He gives balance to this combined XI with Jed Wallace on the other wing.

The Lions striker’s hold-up play is second to none in this division, able to pick the ball out of the air and bring others into play.

His presence and inclusion in the team is valued more than just for his goals.

It is for his work rate and willingness to chase down any and all chances whether it is a lost cause or not.

Nahki Wells knows this division and working well off of Gregory; he would be the one to get on the end of the Millwall striker’s hold-up play to get the goals.

He knows where the net is and when on form, is pretty hard to stop.

Another former Millwall target before his move from Bradford to Huddersfield Town closes out this combined XI between the two sides.
