Plenty of Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to the club's footage of Armando Dobra's strike for the Under-23s yesterday against Cardiff City.

The 18-year-old, whose current deal at Portman Road is set to expire this summer, scored a superb individual goal to clinch a draw for his side in their clash with the Bluebirds.

Although Ipswich have the option to extend Dobra's stay for another year, they have yet to make a decision on his future.

Since being handed his debut by manager Paul Lambert in Ipswich's League Cup defeat earlier this season, the Albania Under-19 international has been used sporadically due to fierce competition in the heart of midfield.

However, in the seven appearances that he has made for the Tractor Boys, Dobra has illustrated some real signs of promise by producing three direct goal contributions.

Given that Ipswich have lost their last four games in League One, it could be argued that Lambert ought to consider the possibility of including Dobra in his match-day squad for Saturday's clash with Bristol Rovers.

Currently 10th in the third-tier standings, the Tractor Boys' hopes of reaching the play-offs in May are hanging by a thread and thus they cannot afford to drop points against the Gas at the Memorial Stadium.
