The Steel City Derby marks the return of the Championship this weekend as all eyes will be trained on Bramall Lane tomorrow night.

The Sheffield Derby as it can also be known often throws up a blood and thunder clash and tomorrow should be no different under the floodlights at the Blades' home.

And, with both sides needing a big three points to boost their campaigns, we should expect plenty of bite from the off - with the added sub-plot that it is Jos Luhukay's first game in charge of the Owls.

It's always a tough game to call, too, but plenty will still have their say and respected football writer Alan Biggs has delivered his verdict in the Sheffield Star.

And, for him, it is a game that will not end up as a draw with both sides, in his eyes, set to go for the win from the off.

Indeed, Biggs writes:

"There are many reasons for this [the result not being a draw,] chief among them that a draw wouldn’t be much hailed in either camp.

"Sheffield United never play for one and, besides, they have the scent of a derby double in their flaring nostrils.

"Sheffield Wednesday know that their only way of settling the score after crashing 4-2 at Hillsborough is to win."

Certainly, the Blades need the points to reignite their play-off challenge whilst the Owls need them to get away from the relegation battle that they are starting to get too close to.

It's going to be a great game, then, and one that will surely be full of goals.
