QPR climbed into fifth place over the weekend, coming from a goal down to claim a 1-0 win away to Hull City with Ryan Manning's striker and an Ebere Eze double sealing the three points.

Reading too had an ejoyable weekend, as controversial managerial appointment Mark Bowen got his tenure in the Madejski dugout off to the perfect start, beating high-flying Preston North End 1-0.

Rangel has been a regular figure again this season after first making his impact felt last summer, playing eight times in the current campaign including the entire 90 minutes in Hull on Sunday.

The verdict

This is all set to be an absolutely brilliant match.

Two sides who will be full of confidence and going for the three points at the KPF on Tuesday night, with plenty of exciting talents laced throughout.

Eze has been absolutely excellent in the Rs midfield, but Ovie Ejaria will push him very hard for the limelight during the clash.

But that could be where the more experienced heads such as Rangel's come into their own. Each side will need somebody to pull on the reigns every now and then and keep heads level, and it could prove the difference.
