Stoke City duo Badou Ndiaye and Giannelli Imbula look to be heading for the Potters exit, as they attempt to finalise moves away from the bet365 Stadium before the loan transfer window closes.

Neither players looks to be in manager Gary Rowett's plans, with 27-year-old Ndiaye looking to have secured a move back to Turkey with Galatasasary as reported on Milliyet, while Imbula is a target of Rayo Vallecano as reported on Football-Espana.

So is this a big blow for Stoke?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

They’ve signed Clucas and Woods, so maybe a blow they were expecting, if nothing else.

Sure, both of those players would be strong in the Championship, but are they affordable?

Are they committed?

I’m not so sure, so in the context of the season I don’t think this is such a devasting blow.

George Dagless

It looks big but perhaps isn't.

Stoke probably knew the pair wouldn't be playing much this season and so have tried to move on without them anyway.

They are good players, though, so they will be missed a bit for sure.

Jay Taylor

Not a blow at all.

The two have not featured much, and with the new signing of Ryan Woods and Gary Rowett wanting to add further, their departures won’t be missed.

Expensive flops, the pair of them and the need to shift the deadwood is still a matter of high importance for the Potters.

Push on with a new, hungry side who want to play for the club, rather than those interested only in playing in the Premier League.
