Exeter City’s friendly in Brazil with Fluminense has finally been confirmed.
However, there still remains many questions about the game that is set to take place after the World Cup.
It has been suggested the game will take place on July 20th between a Fluminense XI and an Exeter City XI with the venue still not known.
The Brazilian will likely field a second team with the first team due to play a league match against Santos the day before.
The game is commemorate 100 years since Brazil played Exeter City in their first football match as a nation.
A statement on the Fluminense website said: “Together, we will celebrate the centenary of the Brazilian national football team. The English team was the opponent of the inaugural match, held at the Orange Stadium on July 21, 1914, and will return to our ground for a commemorative match, to be held on July 20, a Sunday 2014.”
