Sky Bet League Two offered plenty of talking points over the weekend with a number of eye-catching results across the division.

With that in mind, then, it's time to take a closer look at our League Two Team of the Week for the action just gone.

In goal, we've gone with Port Vale's Scott Brown. Vale earned a point away at Forest Green over the weekend and the stopper had to be on his mettle against an in-form Rovers side.

In defence, Will Aimson gets in for his showing for Bury whilst Bondz N'Gala was solid for Crawley Town as they earned a superb 1-0 win away at league leaders Lincoln City.

Meanwhile, completing the defence, Pierce Sweeney was a man possessed for Exeter City as he hit two goals for Grecians as well as being more than happy to get in the face of the Notts defence at points.

In midfield, Filipe Morais caused havoc for Crawley against the Imps whilst Hiram Boateng crafted plenty of opportunities for Exeter and ran amok down their left-hand side.

Harry Pell kept up his goal-scoring run for Colchester United, meanwhile, whilst Tyreeq Bakinson had a good game as Newport County earned another three points - at the expense of Oldham.

Finally, up top, Jayden Stockley put in a classic centre-forward's display to bag a brace for Exeter in the demolition of Notts County whilst James Norwood kept his goal-a-game record going for Tranmere Rovers.

Finally, Danny Mayor was another man to hit two goals over the weekend as the Shakers shook Grimsby Town to run out 4-0 winners.
