Adam Virgo is a man who knows what it takes to earn league titles and win promotion in the Football League.

He's also well known for being a Brighton fan and with the Seagulls now holding their own in the Premier League, we spoke with him about who he could see following them up this season from the Championship.

Here's his take on who's getting promoted this year...

So, Adam, who's coming up from the Championship?

I think Wolves will be going up. I commentated on them v Brentford and they were head and shoulders above the rest I've seen. Ruben Neves is one of the best I've seen in the Championship at his age but I think it's a close call behind them.

I had Aston Villa tipped before a ball was kicked. If they can find a genuine goal scorer in January they may have a chance as they've become a settled team.

Steve Bruce plays an experienced way of playing; 4-4-2, Chester, Terry, Hourihane, Whelan, Snodgrass, experienced players that will get you over the line. It might not be like Wolves but it'll be them or Derby behind Wolves.

Gary Rowett's gone a slightly Neil Warnock way by getting lots of strikers and just finding a way in the final third. They're scoring loads at the moment and that's my only problem with Villa, they don't score enough. Hogan's been in and out of the side, Keinan Davis I like but I don't know if he'll see them over the line in the league.

I think it won't be Middlesbrough's season. An outside bet might be Fulham who have picked up nicely recently and I like the way Brentford play but I don't know if they've enough to get promoted.

It's between Villa, Derby and Wolves, those three but I can't see Wolves getting caught.
