Rochdale starlet, Kwadwo Baah, could still get a move to the Premier League this summer with West Ham United interested in holding talks with the teenager, Football League World understand.

Baah looked set for a move to Manchester City, with the Premier League leaders looking to take the Rochdale forward from the summer after a pre-contract agreement.

However, that deal collapsed and left the 18-year-old facing uncertainty heading into the summer.

Sources have told Football League World that West Ham are now amongst clubs that are keen to hold talks with Baah ahead of striking a deal to sign him in the summer.

Baah broke onto the scene for Rochdale in 2019/20, but saw his breakthrough season impacted by the curtailment of the League One season in 2020.

However, he's motored on this campaign and has started 15 times in League One, making a further 15 appearances from the bench.

In that time he's scored three times, including an impressive brace in a thrilling 4-4 draw with Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

Despite the emergence of Baah and his undoubted potential, Rochdale remain rooted to the bottom of the League One table following last night's 2-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town.
