Stevenage Borough are set to beat a number of League One and League Two teams to the signing of midfielder, Noor Husin, a source close to the club has exclusively revealed to Football League World.

The midfielder was released from his contract at the end of last season at Notts County, after they were relegated to the Vanarama National League after a poor season in League Two.

Sources close to the club have revealed that the former Reading youngster has been on trial with Stevenage during pre-season, and has made a good impression on senior members of the club.

It is also claimed that a number of other League One and League Two teams are keeping tabs on his progress before the new season gets underway, although Stevenage remain the frontrunners to land his signature.

Husin left Reading in the summer of 2016, but was signed by Premier League side, Crystal Palace, but failed to make a notable impact in his brief spell with the club.

He joined Notts County in January 2018, and went on to make 14 appearances for them last season, but was unable to stop them from dropping out of the Football League.

But he's seemingly making a good impression with Stevenage as they look to build on some impressive showings towards the end of last year's league campaign.
