Daniel James has had an excellent season so far for Swansea City and there is a good chance there will be real interest in him in the summer.
The winger has been brilliant, and to stop him you’d need a serious plan as a full-back.
How should opponents go about trying to cut him off in the future, then? We spoke to former defender and EFL on Quest Stephen Warnock to see how he would go about stopping him…
“The biggest thing you have to do is stop the source.
“Stop the ball getting played in behind you or stop it getting to his feet.
“If it does happen you’ve got to be as tight as you can and be as aggressive as you can because you can be made to look very stupid if not.
“The biggest thing is to stop the source and that’s you talking to your winger and trying to stop that from happening.”
