Last week, the Sun suggested that Manchester City have joined the list of interested parties in Swansea flyer Daniel James.
A player that has shone he could well be capable of starring in the Premier League, it would be some move for him to join the current Kings of England.
Could he make that jump, then? We asked EFL on Quest pundit Stephen Warnock to get his views on the rumour.
He told us exclusively…
“I think the only way that’ll happen is if there is a similar situation to Jack Harrison where he moves there and then gets loaned out straightaway.
“I think that might be something that might happen but in a way that is not a bad thing for him. He’s at a fantastic club and you never know whether working under Guardiola might make him an even better player and bring him on so much quicker.
“He’s got all the potential to be a superstar. He’s the closest thing I’ve seen to Gareth Bale for a long time with his pace, his directness and his fearlessness.
“If it does happen then I don’t think that it would be a good thing for him.”
