You've got to feel a little concerned about the rest of the season if you are a Leeds United fan, after a lack of transfer activity in the January transfer window.

The Whites have been hit with so many injuries this season, therefore their squad depth has been massively affected, with Marcelo Bielsa having to field a host of names from the academy on the bench on more than one occasion this term.

After signing just two players in January in the form of Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla and youngster Mateusz Bogusz, the Whites were disappointed not to complete the capture of Swansea City's Daniel James, when the deal fell through in the 11th hour of deadline day.

With the Yorkshire club looking to secure promotion to the Premier League this season, it seems as if Bielsa is already planning for the future, with latest reports linking the club with a summer move for Burnley winger Aaron Lennon.

The 31-year old is no stranger to those at Elland Road, having come through the ranks at the Yorkshire club, and making over 40 senior appearances for the Whites before moving to Tottenham Hotspur in 2005.

We exclusively spoke to another former Leeds player and EFL on Quest pundit Stephen Warnock, asking for his thoughts on this interesting transfer link.

"It's his old club, so he'll know the area very well and he'll know the club very well too."

"He would bring a lot of experience to the team, and when you look at the young players coming through, the amount they can learn from him will be incredible."

"It's difficult to say how he'd fit into this team at this moment of time, however, as we don't know if they are going to be in the Premier League, we don't know if they are going to still be in the Championship, and we don't even know if he's going to move there."
