Peterborough United are fielding permanent offers for Kai Corbett heading into the final hours of the January transfer window, with sources indicating to Football League World that one of those has come from Swindon Town

Corbett has played only one game for Peterborough in his Posh career so far, featuring for just under an hour of a goalless draw with Barnsley in November 2021.

The former West Ham United youngster, 20, has his suitors heading into the final hours of the transfer window, with an array of opportunities opening up.

Football League World have learned that League Two promotion hopefuls, Swindon, have tabled a permanent offer to sign Corbett from Peterborough, although they face competition in that pursuit.

There’s an unnamed MLS club bidding to sign the Barcelona-born winger, whilst Dundalk are offering a League of Ireland opportunity.

Corbett’s position on the fringes at Peterborough comes at a time when Posh are sitting seventh in League One and looking to compete for a return to the Championship.
