Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Joe Lumley will not be making a Deadline Day move to Nottingham Forest, sources have told Football League World.
Lumley is set to be out of contract at the end of this season, and has recently been linked with a surprise move to the City Ground.
The 25-year-old has endured emergency loan spells at Doncaster Rovers and Gillingham this season, and has made only two league appearances this season.
West London Sport have reported that Forest have had an approach to take Lumley on loan turned down, with the R’s believed to be more interested in selling the goalkeeper before tonight’s deadline.
Sources have now told Football League World that a deal to bring Lumley to the City Ground on Deadline Day will not happen.
Forest already have Brice Samba, Jordan Smith and Abdoulaye Diallo on the books, with the latter failing to make a single matchday squad since his arrival in the summer.
