Sheffield Wednesday have had a hectic few weeks, with the club on the lookout for a new manager after Jos Luhukay was sacked.

However, as well as tough times on the pitch this season, there has been uncertainty off it too.

Owner Dejphon Chansiri recently told a fan forum that the club are up for sale after he failed to guide the club to the Premier League in the past few years.

It wasn't for the want of trying, with the owner pumping a lot of money into the club but ultimately they fell short and financial restrictions have hindered them in the past 18 months.

Therefore, Chansiri feels his time at Hillsborough is coming to an end. We exclusively caught up with former Premier League midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker at the QUEST TV studios to get his thoughts on this situation.

And, it's fair to say he wasn't too surprised when the news came out: "I think it’s something from a long time ago that you probably could see it was going to happen eventually."

The ex-Aston Villa man also gave an insight into whether this can impact the players:

"It’s difficult, nowadays for the modern footballer there’s a lot of information out there.

"Back in my generation of player we wouldn’t know that the club was up for sale, that’s something that’s kept strictly up top as confidential information and you find out once a sale has happened or whether there’s interest.

"But now in the modern game there’s such a freedom of information that I don’t think it helps, especially in the situation for what is such a great club."

The Owls have recorded back-to-back victories under caretaker Lee Bullen, who is likely to remain in charge for tomorrow's game against West Brom.
