A whole host of clubs are looking into the possibility of signing former England international midfielder Fabian Delph on a free transfer, sources have exclusively informed Football League World.

The 32-year-old is on the market following his summer release from Everton, where he spent three years after his time at Manchester City.

FLW have been told Premier League clubs have looked at the 32-year-old since coming onto the market, but it is more likely that a Championship club will get their hands on Delph.

A plethora of outfits are targeting the experienced left-footer, with Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, West Bromwich Albion and Reading all said to be looking at Delph.

They are joined in that particular battle though by Scottish giants Rangers, who are also taking a keen interest in the Leeds United academy graduate.

Delph has struggled for fitness in recent years, featuring just 41 times in all competitions during his three years at Everton, but now a Championship club could offer him a potential lifeline for his career.
