Many Leeds United fans will be hoping that their club is going to sign some players this month despite Marcelo Bielsa's dismissive attitude towards the window.

They are well placed in the division right now but do seem to need some new faces now that the market is open for business.

And, that said, Portsmouth winger Jamal Lowe is one player attracting their interest - according to Sky Sports.

With that in mind, then, we caught up with former Leeds and Portsmouth midfielder Michael Brown to get his thoughts on the potential transfer...

"He’s a player that’s been at Barnet and has gone off on loan to lower areas like Boreham Wood and St. Alban's City.

"He went to Hampton and Richmond Borough before getting to Portsmouth and played about 100 games in non-league so he’s certainly done it the hard way.

"You can see that he has got that desire to do it and to try and make it so maybe Leeds United would be interested in him because of that desire.

"But there’s a lot of talk and Portsmouth are a club that won’t want to sell so will Leeds be able to get him?

"Thereares other clubs interested in him and rightly so because he is doing a good job."
