Sheffield United are having a top season so far in the Sky Bet Championship and it seems as though they are genuine contenders for promotion.
The Blades seem to have managed to avoid tailing off over Christmas and it looks as though they will be there or thereabouts this year.
We caught up with former midfielder and EFL on Quest pundit Michael Brown, then, to see if he thought they could make the top two…
“They seem to have turned a corner they had a great start and then a bit of a lull in certain games.
“I thought they were excellent in the first half of matches but then not clinical enough to actually go on and win the game.
“They seem to have picked up now and got a little bit of grit and it’ll be interesting to see if Chris Wilder can get that little bit of help that he needs to try and achieve something.
“Top two would be an incredible return if they can get near that. If they get top six they have done very, very well so if they can just keep the target sensible and get the play-offs it’s a wonderful achievement for the club at this moment in time.”
