The fight to stay in the Football League promises to be exciting and intriguing, with three teams desperately trying to avoid finishing in the bottom two.

Notts County are currently bottom of the league, despite a decent run of form over the past few months, on 37 points, behind Yeovil on goal difference.

The duo trail Sol Campbell's Macclesfield by just two points, with the former England international working wonders at Moss Rose since he was appointed.

And, former Sheffield United midfielder Michael Brown was full of praise for the work the 44-year-old has done.

"It’s been some turnaround, with Macclesfield finally getting out the relegation zone," Brown exclusively told Football League World.

"Nobody had given them a chance, it’s my local club and I think Sol Campbell deserves full credit. He’s done an amazing job so far and if they can come out of that it would be a great achievement."

However, there's sure to be a few twists and turns in the run-in and Brown revealed he is looking forward to watching it play out.

"It’s extremely tight and very interesting. I never thought Macclesfield could do it but with Notts County having such poor form, only 37 points, it's possible. But, I think County are the ones to watch as I think they can get results, but Macclesfield are doing so as well."

The three sides are in action on Good Friday and on Easter Monday in what is sure to be a decisive few days as they battle to preserve their Football League status.
