On loan Brentford striker Marcus Forss has opened up about his temporary spell AFC Wimbledon at so far, with the 20-year-old Finn having arrived at Kingsmeadow during the summer.

The striker has made a bright start to his career at the League One club, notching an impressive 10 goals in his first 13 league outings, including a memorable hattrick away to fellow strugglers Southend United.

Given the start he has made to life in south London, it is perhaps unsurprising that the youngster has received widespread plaudits for his performances for the Dons so far.

Boasting a healthy average of a goal every 95 minutes, the Finland youth international is by far and away one of the brightest and best performing strikers in the Football League.

FLW Journalist Chris Thorpe recently caught up with the Bees loanee to discuss his rapid start to life at Wimbledon, with the young hotshot only having positive things to say about his loan spell so far.

"Brilliant, nothing bad to say about the club, the performance of the team has been fantastic, since I’ve come in everyone has looked after me.

"I’ve come in as a young guy, with no opportunities, no previous experience in professional football and I’ve just come in, done my work and it’s paid off massively.

"I have benefitted from playing with more experienced players to some extent.

"But also for me I have to trust my own work and have faith in myself as that is what is going to make me a better player.

"And the teams done well as well, so it’s been a pleasure. "
