The race for promotion in the Sky Bet Championship is as tight as ever, with Norwich City, Sheffield United and Leeds United in a three-way battle for the top two spots.

Daniel Farke's Norwich are in the driving seat as it stands, with the Canaries top of the table with 84 points, seven points clear of second placed Sheffield United.

Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United occupy third spot with 76 points, though could leapfrog their Yorkshire rival's Sheffield United if they secure three points in their clash with Preston North End this evening.

Football League World exclusively caught up with former player and now Sky Sports pundit Liam Rosenior at the 2019 EFL Awards, and he issued his thoughts on what is turning out to be a fascinating fight for the top two spots.

Rosenior exclusively told FLW's Sam Rourke: "Right now, I think it'll be Norwich and Sheffield United, It's been hard because there has been three outstanding teams but I think if I had to pick two right now, Norwich definitely"

"It's 50/50 between Sheffield United and Leeds, but if I had to pick one i'd be going Sheffield United."

With six matches to go, there are bound to be a number of twists and turns and it truly could go down to the wire, especially concerning that second spot in the division.
