Leicester City, Brighton and Cardiff City have had bids rejected by Reading for 18-year-old striker Danny Loader, a source close to the Royals has exclusively confirmed to Football League World.

The young forward is attracting interest from a plethora of top clubs, with the source confirming to FLW that Juventus, Dortmund, Borussia Monchenladbach, Lyon, Arsenal, Wolves and Chelsea have all made enquiries for the player.

Loader made 21 appearances for Reading last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in what turned out to be a disappointing season for the Berkshire outfit.

The bids from Leicester, Brighton and Cardiff were swiftly rejected by Royals chiefs with them being labeled ‘derisory’ by the source close to Reading, though, it is expected that the club will look to offload their hot prospect to help balance the books financially.

The Royals have been placed under a ‘soft transfer embargo’ as per the Sun, with Jose Gomes’ side now needing permission from the EFL to secure any signings this summer.

The 18-year-old starlet was a part of England’s Under-17’s World Cup winning team in 2017, and he’s retained his spot in the England youth setup, being called up for the England under-20’s in Toulon this summer.
