Barnsley ace, Callum Styles, is attracting interest from Leeds United, Southampton and Norwich City heading into the summer transfer window, a source has revealed to Football League World.

Styles has been a key part of Barnsley's vibrant side in the Championship this season, making 36 appearances, scoring four goals and registering two assists from a left wing-back role under Valerien Ismael.

Ismael has the Tykes sitting inside the Championship's play-off places ahead of the run-in, with Barnsley looking to pull off a shock promotion to the Premier League.

However, failure to win promotion will undoubtedly lead to Premier League vultures circling their best talent.

A source has revealed to Football League World that Leeds, Southampton and Norwich are all keeping tabs on Styles given his impressive form for Barnsley.

Styles has a long-term contract behind him, but if the Tykes' push for promotion falls short, it's expected that the trio will make a transfer enquiry for the 21-year-old's service.

All three interested parties should be planning for Premier League football in 2021/22, with Leeds and Southampton comfortable in the top-flight and Norwich looking set to join them next season.

There are also clearly plans at Leeds and Southampton to source a left-sided player ahead of the new season.

Leeds look set to part company with both Barry Douglas and Ezgjan Alioski in the summer, whilst Southampton have been linked with Brentford left-back, Rico Henry.

With a second Championship title in three seasons looking inevitable at Norwich, they are aiming to strengthen their squad accordingly for the Premier League.
