Leeds United are pushing to move Tom Pearce out on loan to Greek side Aris Thessaloniki who currently hold an interest in the player, though the 21-year-old remains unsure on a potential switch, a source close to the club has exclusively confirmed to Football League World.
The 21-year-old full-back has struggled to force his way into Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team plans at Elland Road, and he was shipped out on loan to Scunthorpe for the second half of last season, where he registered nine appearances.
Having made just two appearances in the Championship for Bielsa’s side, the club are actively looking to ship him out on a temporary basis and it is Greek outfit Aris Thessaloniki who are looking to initiate talks with the defender, as per the source close to the club.
The Greek side finished fifth last season are will be in the Europa League for the upcoming campaign, and it is understood that a left-back is a priority for the club, according to reports emerging from Greece.
However, a source close to Leeds has informed Football League World that Pearce remains unsure on a potential switch to the Europa League outfit, and is keen to weigh up all the options available to him ahead of the new 2019/20 campaign.
